Director 
Narges Bajoghli is a PhD student in Anthropology and the Program in Culture and Media at New York University. She has conducted oral history interviews of survivors of chemical warfare, and has spent over five years researching and working in Iran.  The Skin That Burns results from over seven years of work and research on chemical warfare in the Iran-Iraq War. 


Executive Producer
Marco Williams is the Director of “The Undocumented,” a forthcoming film about Mexican immigrants perishing as they attempt crossing the border through the Arizona desert, and how it directly relates to the United States Immigration Law.  Marco is also the co-director and co-producer of the award winning and nationally acclaimed, seminal documentary “Two Towns of Jasper.” The film was broadcast on P.O.V. on PBS.  It was featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Nightline with Ted Kopple, and it was the centerpiece of a town hall meeting—Two Towns of Jasper: America in Black And White, anchored by Ted Kopple. 



Marco is also the writer, director and producer of the award winning and nationally and internationally acclaimed documentary, “In Search of Our Fathers”. The film was broadcast on the PBS program “Frontline”.  It has been exhibited at festivals throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia, including the Whitney Museum of American Art’s 1996 “Black Male Exhibition, the 1993 Whitney Biennial. 

Marco is also the writer, director, and producer of the documentary “Making Peace: Rebuilding our Communities,” part of a four hour series profiling people working to heal the conditions that create violence in their communities.  Other producing and directing credits include the award-winning documentary short, “From Harlem to Harvard”, “The Pursuit of Happiness” with author Arrianna Huffington, the co-producer of “Uncommon Ground”, as well as reality –based television series: “Reunion and “Missing Reward”.  Marco is a nominated fiction film director as well.  His dramatic short, “Without a Pass” was nominated for three Cableace Awards including Best Director of a Theatrical Special and Best Theatrical Special.  It premiered on Showtime.

Ramin Bajoghli

Producer
Cheryl Furjanic  is an award-winning filmmaker who has been teaching documentary video production at NYU for over a decade. Her short documentary and fiction films, which range in length from 30 seconds to 13 minutes, have screened at 100+ festivals worldwide and on television. Her first feature documentary, SYNC OR SWIM screened at festivals nationwide including Slamdance (2008), Silverdocs (2008), and MoMA’s Documentary Fortnight Series (2009).  SYNC OR SWIM received numerous awards, including a Billie Award for Journalism from the Women’s Sports Foundation, and is now available on DVD and iTunes.  Her new film BACK ON BOARD (2013), is a feature-documentary about the life and legacy of Olympic champion diver Greg Louganis. Cheryl holds a BFA in Film & Television production from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and a Masters from NYU/Tisch's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP). 

Producer
Noelle Stout is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and an anthropologist. Her film,  Luchando, chronicles the lives of queer sex-workers in Havana, and has been screened all over the world. Noelle is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at New York University.  She holds a PhD in Anthropology from Harvard University and a BA from Stanford University.
